HELP!!

here are some problems i have with homebrew games/apps

1. when i start quake 2 the screen goes black and turns off
2. on irshell i try to start homebrew and it comes up wiv:
game could not be started (80010002)
3. UMDrip comes up as corrupted data

i am firmware 3.40oe-a and have googled all 3 of these problems with useles results

There are a couple of potential problems:

1- Your memory stick could be fake. To check if it's fake or not, scroll over either video or music in your PSP menu and hit triangle when it's on a memory stick icon. From here, click on information. If under Magicgate it says supported, then it's real. If it says unknown then it's a fake memory stick.

2-You could have the games in the wrong folders. If they are 1.50 games (i.e. Comes with two folders, a _GAME_ and a _GAME_%) then they both go inside of the GAME150 folder. If they only come with one folder, then they can go inside of the GAME folder. (Also, if the game is in 1.50 format, then it will show up with a corrupt data icon either underneath or above your game icon; don't delete it because this is the _GAME_% folder and the game needs it in order to be played).

i figured problem 2 out myself but i still have problem 1 & 3 left.
i can run UMDrip with irshell but halfway throgh it says the application could not be started
