Ok, I am finally all setup on my Modded Xbox and everything is working great. I am able to watch DVD movies, etc. However, prior to modding my Xbox, I had the DVD playback kit installed. Now that I modded the Xbox, the remote control does not function at all. Is there a way to use the remote now?

You should still be able to use the Remote with the original Xbox DVD player. Not with DVDX2.

what i did to use my remote is i set my dvd player to "c" drive rather then"f" drive when a dvd is inserted.. I'm still able to use dvdx2..all i have to do i manual go to dvdx2 then insert the dvd. hope this help
