ok you want to change the faunt on your psp.
well is pretty simple so don't worry. I don't use applications that mess with the flash you can but i don't, but if u still want to use it then they (usually they have a read me when u download them).

But if u want to do it the manual way which i think is a little better cause u know whats going on. and u learn more

i changed my psp's xmb and faunt the manual way
ps: u do know when u mess with the flash that u have a chance of bricking the psp right?
but that's a slim chance

ok this is how u change the faunt and the xmb.
if you brick your psp because you did something wrong it is not my fault this is a pretty Nube friendly explanation on how to do this.

Ok you will have to download custom xmb they usually have font files in them. This is a pretty good place do download them from (evolvexmb.com) you will have to get an account but its free and its worth it.

OK YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE A CUSTOME FERM WEAR! I have 3.40-oe-a its doesnt have to be my ferm wear they have them for 3.5x m33 to.

ok when ever your working with the flash you do need to back up all the files!!!!!!! Just in case something goes wrong you can just put the files back into your psp. Then you should be good.

BACKING UP ALL YOUR FLASH FILES
1.Turn your psp totally off.(hold the power switch up for about 5 sec)

2.Then turn it back on while holding the r trigger. (the blue screen is the recovery menu).

3.Scrole down with the d pad to advance (advance->)click advance with x.

4.Now plug your psp into the computer via usb. (usb cable)

5.Now scroll down to toggle usb (flasho) and select it with x.

6.Now you should see it on your computer. Open it and you should see these folders (data, dic, font, kd, kn, vsh) NOW COPIE THE ALL THE FOLDERS AND PUT THEM IN A SAFE PLASE ON YOUR COMPUTER Do NOT DELET THEM. (DONOT CUT OR REMOVE THE FILES FROM YOUR PSP)!

7.Now go into the custom font folder and select the file and copy it (ltn0.pgf is the name of the file), now go into the font folder in your psp and paste the custom font file. The computer will ask if you want to replace the new file with the existing file, select yes.

8.Then go back after you have copied and pasted and safety remove your psp.

9.Now on your psp select back and exist. It should go straight to your xmb.........And your done with your custom font! ENJOY. =)

If you want to change the xmb start after #6 here.

most of the time you will not have space in your flash to change the xmb but there are Lot's of ways to free up a little more flash space to be able to fit in the larger themes, you can get a few homebrew apps which will get rid of some of the files which you don't need.

One thing I'd suggest is to delete your "dic" folder, it will have no side effects. But back it up just in case.

7.Go into the vsh folder on your psp.

8.Copy the custom xmb files from the folder you downloaded(there should be a vsh folder in the folders you downloaded that's where you will get the files). And paste them in your vsh folder on the psp.

9.And select replace.

10.Then safety remove your psp and go back and exit and your done! enjoy.
