is it safe to use the usb fans. i seen one just liek the nyko but there is a hole where the power plug is and it runs off the usb. so is that better than running it off the power supply. and if so do u think running 2 usb fans would hurt it.thanks

USB fans are safer than the power pass through, as the Nyko intercooler caused hardware failures because the 360 could not get the power it needed. You also should be ok with more than 1 fan running, if the USB port can't supply the power it simply wont run the fans.
