According to another forum a new version (3.1?) has been released today, addressing the LAN adapter problems as well as lockup problems in the Opera browser. I'm assuming they are referring to the FLV exploit.

Has anyone tried this new firmware? If so, did you have any mod chip related problems? Do keyboards work in Opera now?

Yes, I'm too pussy to try it without confirmation :-)

Got the answers now:

1) Modchips still work fine. No Bricking.
2) The FLV exploit is NOT fixed.
3) Keyboards do NOT work in Opera.
4) The update is NOT 3.1, The Version stays at 3.0
