Why can't you add more solder?

If you tried and can't get it to go right, are you using flux?

Look for some soldering tutorials on the web, pictures may help you here. I'm fairly sure you will be able to do it, you may just need to think outside the box.

Could you get a tinned wire (presoldered, so all you need to do is heat it) and add that to the point?

Maybe post some pics.

Do you have a Photo? and you should use pre fluxed solder or use flux when soldering

Have you ever soldered before?

If you have burned away to much solder then you must use an alternative path but this is more difficult than soldering to the quick solder joints.

If you have burned away to much you also may have broke the Wii drive, you should really have got a pro to do this its not something someone new to soldering should attempt.

use flux. i did that before with one point. i put a little flux on board. put some solder on tip and fix it. the flux will sick the solder on to the board. if not you can trace the lines to the legs and solder to that.

Ok there is another trick you can try before soldering to the legs...

First get some electrical tape and use it to stick the Wiikey in place.

Two get you solder and a peace of slightly damp cloth (not to wet) and heat up your soldering iron

Three get a strip of solder and rub it on the soldering iron until then end of the strip of solder goes into a ball and try to flick it off on to the damp cloth with the soldering iron if it sticks to the soldering iron rub the iron onto the cloth.

You should have a small smooth ball of solder not to small but not massive.

Ok now place the ball of solder into the Wiikey easy solder holes, and heat the ball of solder this will then obviously stick to the Wiikey and hopefully your Wii drive board.

Don?t apply to much pressure for to long or you will obviously overheat the chips, and use a bit of flux on the solder before you turn it in a ball.

That was the method I used when soldering my Cyclowiz and it worked straight away.

I hope that made scense to you.

Good luck mate just ask if you need anything.

Damn! You massacred your Wii.

You're more than likely going to have to solder directly to the legs of the drive chip. However, If you managed to mess up the install that bad, I'd highly recommend you send it to a pro modder.
