3600mAh in single battery - legit?

I'm thinking of buying a new battery for my PSP. A lot of the PSP batteries sold on eBay are supposed to have a capacity of 3600mAh, double the stamina that the standard battery can hold. They are sold really cheap too:





Has anyone tried out a battery like this? Does it really double the playtime?

I'm not talking about a bulky addon that sits outside of your PSP, just a regular sized battery with double capacity.

It last a bit longer than the original 1800mAh(6hr). Definitely not double the battery life. I also have the sony's 2200mAh, which much last longer than both 1800 and 3400 (7~7.5hr).

A word of warning, like anything from ebay beware of fakes. Actually I don't think there is a authentic 3400mAh battery. The one in picture is from a non-name-brand 3rd party manufacturer.
