i haven't heard anything about new plans for firmware, or new firmware being developed. has everyone stopped making new firmware or am i misinformed or have i just not heard anything?
I haven't picked up on anything lately, either. The biggest news I've been waiting to hear is about the Benq's. Back when they came out, it was spoken that they shouldn't be too hard to mod for as they were built somewhat like the Samsungs. I can't remember exactly how, though. It's been awhile since they've been out.

what's everyone thinking about xbox updates? i know they're safe for the moment, but my guess is that they'll release at least one more update before halo 3 in an attempt to ban modders. any news on that?

that would be cool, but it's not likely. even if he did know someone, they'd have to be in the right department with the right clearance and be willing to put their job on the line.
