I doubt Metal Gear Solid 4 will ever come out on the Xbox 360.The reason I think it won't is because Sony has always had the Metal Gear Solid series.I have seen Metal Gear Solid on GameCube though,so nobody can really say for sure.You might see it on the Wii maybe,but that might not even happen also.All I can say is as far as I know Metal Gear Solid 4 is only set for release on the PS3 at the moment.

I have to disagree, initally MGS4 will be a ps3 only game but, strong rumors have it being released as multi platform title by the end of 2008. The platform exclusive titles on the ps3 are very minimal, devil may cry 4(now coming to 360) virtual fighter(was ps3 exclusive, now on it way to 360).
There are strong possibilities that MGS4 will make an apprearence on the 360 at some stage although not on initial release

That's not entirely true. MGS2 did come out for the Xbox.

OXM said MGS4 will be released on X360 not right at initial release but the months close following that, rumored not to be headed up by Kojima to port it to the X360, but someone.....Sept's OXM if anyone wants to read it more.

In all honesty it probably will in time, but I personally hope not. Since other titles like GOW & Lost Planet are MS "exclusive" and won't go to the PS3 so the same should be for them in reference to MGS4.

That's not entirely true. MGS2 did come out for the Xbox.
The last Metal Gear Solid that came out was on the psp though,not the Xbox.I know the Xbox had Metal Gear Solid on it,and if they kept it they would have had Metal Gear Solid 3 not 2.Just a thought I wanted to bring up,not saying the Xbox 360 isn't going to have it.I just don't think they will have it,because the Xbox didn't have MGS 3 on it.It is a Japanese game by the way,and from reading the news the Japanese don't like the XBox at all.

Really... I wish EVERYTHING (minus first party titles) would go cross platform. That way Sony and MS would have to work harder to sell us their systems based on the hardware, and not software.
This way, the consumer wins.
I know, I know... wishfull thinkin'.

if it does go your best bet would be around the holiday season next year.that way they can make a bunch of money all in one fellow swoop.but until then they will continue to say they arent making it for the 360. if anybody reambers assisans creed kinda like that.

they don't expect a lot of money from the ps3 base as it is not widespread. they said it might come to a stronger base. it can't be wii since the graphics suxxor, has to be the 360.

I hate to say it,but the Wii is outselling both consoles at the moment.It is a widespread console,so I'm not going to say it couldn't happen.The Wii isn't worried about graphics,and their goal isn't to attract people with graphics.The PS3 and the Wii are more widespread than the Xbox 360,because they sell the best.I agree the Wii isn't better than the PS3 and the XBox 360,but it is proven it is selling more than both consoles mentioned.

wii is almost identical to a GameCube.
I'd say it will come to xbox one day because Konami isn't super exclusive, it has released MGS games for every console. so why not 360?

Well to be honest I could care less,because we all know the PS3 is going to have it.One thing I should mention is that the PS3 does have more power than the 360,so not really sure what you mean by stronger base.It is widespread whether you want to believe it or not,and the 360 lacks support from the far east countries.I still don't think it will come out on the 360,because I also believe this will boost sells for the PS3 as well.The Wii isn't strong at all and I agree with you all,but it sells more than the PS3 and Xbox 360 which would make it a good system to produce a Metal Gear Solid game.I'm not going to say MGS4,but it can support MGS3 and I think it would sell if they did put something like that on it.I think the PS3 and the Xbox 360 are better game systems in my opinion,but from recent console sell stats the Wii is dominating in sells.I'm just saying if a MGS game is going to come out on another system I would expect to see one on the Wii before the 360.

I would like to see another killswitch come out,because I thought it was a real good game.It was a smooth shoot everything up game,and after playing Gears of War it reminded me of that game.I'm not saying Gears of War took anything away from that game,but just how smooth it is reminded me of it.

i remember that game. That's like the granddaddy of all current 1st person shooters with the duck and cover system. too bad the game was a failure at the time.

The thing I like about killswitch that I dislike about metal gear solid is the fact you don't have to be in stealth all the time.It seems like if you get caught by some guards in some of the Metal Gear Solid games you have to run and hide or they kill you real quick.In killswitch you can hide,but still buck a gun off at your enemies.Gears of War I think is better than the MGS games also,but that is just my opinion.I would like to see Gears of War come out on the PS3 than see Metal Gear Solid 4,but I don't think that will ever happen.

thats the point in mgs though is to be sneaky its the same reason why my brother doesnt play it.some people i guess dont like the blend of sneaky with intense battle seans and like all run and gun but differnt strokes for differant folks i guess.

But that is the point to playing something different. Why would you want to play the exact same type of game play EVERY time with just different skins/graphics. This is the #1 reason why I have strayed away from FPS's...to have a different experience (and why I am eagerly anticipating MGS4). Honestly for me if I want to get get the best FPS experience it has to be CS 1.6 on PC since it is on par with my skills with a keyboard and mouse. Maybe when something really new and different on PS3 or 360 comes out I might go back to using a controller but hopefully they'll integrate K&M with new titles that come out, and even then I highly doubt anything will ever match the all out fun and strats I have experienced with CS over the years.
