Okay after much heart ache and pain I finally got into the recovery menu of my psp

CFW Firmware 3.40 OE-A

Press the power button up and hold it until the PSP is completely off (Hold it for 10 seconds for good measure). Press and hold the Right trigger down and turn the PSP on normally. If you're on 3.40 then you should access recovery

Thanks to the person that posted this.....it finally worked!!!!

Ok in the recovery menu there so many settings

Can any other 3.40 OE-A users out there let me know what settings they have? or the adivisible ones to change and what not 2..

Go to Configuration and turn no-umd off. Then when you play ISO's always have a game UMD in the drive. If you go to CPU speed, you can make it 333mhz and have good gameplay, and less choppy ISO's. The only thing is it drains you battery faster.
