.Bup and .Ifo error in Nero?

Using Nero 6 I'm trying to burn the files from a DVD but I recieve this error when it goes to verify the components before burning

'VTS_01_0.BUP should be identical to VTS_01_0.IFO'

As this is my first time burning anything I have no idea what the first step may be. Any ideas appreciated.

Using Pioneer 106 drive..

i'm having the same problem with the bup file
the minute it starts reading the disc and the bup file pops up it goes into non responding mode????


i have a compaq presario s4100nx with a back pack burner
i'm a newbi so please take it easy on me
