Anyways, I don't know which ones I like the best but here are some good ones.

-IRShell
-PSP Universal Remote
-NesterJ (NES emulator)
-Daedalus (N64 Emulator)
-Flasher Programs (I don't use them)
-SnesTXYL (SNES emulator)
-GPSP (GBA Emulator)
-Flash Agent (Only works on OE firmwares)
-PSPTube (Watch Youtube Video's on your PSP)

Only Apps? then those above are the best bet.

But if you mean games too, Get PSP Revolution, Super Mini Mario And Cave Story.

My new favorite homebrew is MapThis by Deniska. I have the PSP-290, and it works great with the software. Nice peice of homebrew if you ask me.

PSP + PSP-290 = Nice little GPS unit on the cheap.
