my tutorial on how to burn madden 08

what you will need
1. cd dvd rom generator
2. isobuster
3. an iso of madden 08
4. about 5gb space on your hdd
5. nero burning rom
6. a dvd-r
7. a way to load burnable dvd's
8. apache
ok first we are going to extract the iso
1. make a folder called madden 08 on your desktop
2. open isobuster
3. load up the iso of madden 08
4. highlight all the files in isobuster (make sure you have them all)
5. drag the files to the folder on your desktop and wait...
now to rebuild the image... keep isobuster open
1. in cd dvd rom generator gen go to volume
2. there should be a file in isobuster called scus, slus, something like that
3. put in the capital letters in the first bx of disc name
4. put the 5 letters that follow (without .) in the second box
5. producer name is PLAYSTATION
6. licence area is where the iso is from (ntsc is america pal is eurpoe and any other is japan
7. go to directory and drag and drop all the files in the same order EXCEPT for the scus (or your own) file its second to last and system is last.
8. file -> export iml
ok now to make our iso
1. in apache file -> create -> iso from iml file
2. point it to the iml file you just made
3. show it where to put the iso.
4. is it needs any more files its because it couldnt find the right directory. just open the cnf file from before.
5. watch as it builds an iso.
THIS ISO WONT LOAD!!!!!!!!!! we have to re-rebuild it
1. use iso buster to load the new iso from apache.
2. make a new folder on the desktop called rebuild
3. copy all files from the iso into the rebuild folder
4. keep isobuster open
5. go to nero burning rom click dvd the new udf/iso on the botom of the list.
6. drag and drop all the files from the rebuild folder in the order that isobuster lists them. (nero will change the order in its list but it will still burn in the order you moved them)
7. click burn while your burnable dvd is in the drive.
to load it.
some unmodified ps2's may load this if their laser is really good but anyone who has a ps2 doesnt have one of those so lets get to the point
SWAP MAGIC (i dont have 1 so may be inacurate)
1. put in swap magic
2. swap the disc with your tool or flip top
3. press load disc
MODCHIP
1. put in burned game
COGSWAP
1. put in psx trigger disc
2. use your elf launching program to load cogswap
3. put in a real storebought game and wait for the circle to turn yellow on the screen
4. press x and wait for it to turn purple
5. switch the discs using a tool or fliptop. dont press eject
6. press x to load
this tut is noob proof and is guaranteed to work. more like it are coming soon ;) give a shout to lanepwnu!

I don't plan on getting this game anyway, but I want to know if the ripped is 5 gigs, what step in your process makes it able to fit on a dvd-5?

Just use dvd decrypter and if you want to patch it, get the id from that one site. Can't remember the name and use windip. Simple as that.

i tried patching this with windip but it doesnt work..i used the disk id from my original madden game

Yeah I have no idea why you'd do all that - this game does not need rebuilding - only patching for going online.
All you need is DVD Decryptor if you're only playing the game offline - read iso to hard drive and then burn at 1x with good quality media like Taiyo Yuden or Ritek.
If you want to go online you'll need Apache (or Isobuster) to extract the 3 DNAS files from the iso, DNAS Disc ID Insertor to patch the 3 files (use 4 random #s from 0-9 or A-F then the original last 6 digits from the pressed disc)..all 3 files MUST have the same 10 digits patched to them, then use WinImage to INJECT them back into the Iso (in the exact same place as the original files were) and then burn with Decryptor.

its not 5 gigs. thats because you made 2 isos. an original and a rebuilt. adn EA SPORTS(c) games dont load being burned. and this allows for online play.
my vice city freezes alot.

Hi,
I have an iso of madden 08 and the dnas thing i got says:
Madden 08 DISC ID XX XX 10 30 GC
I use windip v1.7 to patch games, i can't remember how to patch in to go online, what goes in the xx values? also it want let me type in G only C and numbers will go in the boxes.
Please help.

You are wrong!! - it's impossible to have a G in the Disc ID...so whoever gave you that is trying to mess you up or you are trying to give false info... you can only have 0-9 and A-F as hex values... ie hexidecimal...means 16 ...10 numbers / 6 characters ...got it ??

lanepwnu - you're talking out of your arse - YES EA game backups DO load and play just fine ...the game is only 1.77GB and burned backups of Madden play both offline and online - you don't know what you're doing - as I said there are THREE DNAS files that need to be patched - if you don't patch all 3 you won't get online - simple as that. You're probably using poor quality (retail) 'junky' media which the PS2 is very picky about - buy QUALITY Taiyo Yuden or Ritek DVD-R blanks (not RWs!) online from good sources like Meritline.com or Supermediastore.com - you'll pay less than retail and get better quality blanks. Also: you should burn at 1x for best results and don't be doing a million other things on your computer while burning - best to turn off ALL other programs incl. screen savers, animated cursors, etc. Also if you have a slow(er) computer make sure your power saving (monitor & hard drive shutdown) is turned OFF.

windip is your best choice on patching an online game,
also verbatims are good dvd's,best speed i burned my games where 4x
