I have a PSP with the firmware 3.30 OE-A, i had it with this firmware for 3 months and it ran perfectly, however now it wont read the UMDs i put in it, the psp detects the umd and starts reading, but nothing shows up, and after a while it says "could not ready UMD", also i hear the weird clicking sounds when it tries to read the UMD, i tried cleaning the UMD drive, but didnt work. What can i do? is there a program that solves that? should i take it to Sony? (the store where i bought it is no longer there).
Also: I was thinking, if i should take my PSP to sony, maybe i should put it in an official sony Firmware, but there is a problem, whe i downgraded my PSP i used a downgrader for the firmware 3.03 that used an unpatched GTA: Liberty city, the problem is that the readme said that if should i ever modify the firmware to an official sony emulator i could no longer downgrade it because it would brick it, at least thats what the readme said, can you guys help me in any way?
Is there a way to put it in a official sony firmware and then downgrade it again without bricking it despite what the readme said?
thanks in advance guys....i really need help over here
ok for starters to get it to readd UMD's you have to fully turn it off take everything out (battery/memory card and soo on) then turn give it a minture then put everything back in right. it should work. and i forget wat firmwarre but u cant upgrade upagain or its a brick because of sonys blockin thing. so wait for the downgrade back to sony firmware comes back outt
Nah its the clear case on the UMD's. Its prolly broken so Just switch the disc to another case like the demo's case or something then itll work. I do it all the time
