just get the custom firmware first,i recommend you go for 3.40oe-a for a while, just to get the hang of things, download it from psp hacks, and then go to downloads and download it,then read the readme that comes with it,do what it says and then you have 3.40oe-a,then start asking all your questions about games, homebrew, xmb's etc

1.5 > 2.71 > 2.81 > 3.03 >GTA LCS< 1.5 > 3.40oe-a
1 semibrick recovered back to 1.5 > 3.40oe-a
white TA-082 fully bricked using wrong downgrade another white TA-082 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.40oe-a then to 3.52m33 > 1.5 > 3.80 ofw > pandora battery & magic memory stick to get 1.5 then 3.52m33 > 3.71m33 > 3.80m33, psp's still alive!!!

shanemb gave good advice here, although I dont know if it is neccesary to start with 3.40 OE....you might as well go with 3.52 M33. Just make sure you read the readme several times and that you understand each step before you continue. If you have questions before you upgrade, please ask them first. You do NOT want to make a mistake here and cause yourself more headaches.

It is a fairly simple process once you fully understand it. Good luck.

Maybe one at a time?

The search function is there for a reason, you can find out almost everything you want using that.

1) Your games (in iso or cso format) go in your ISO folder, if you don't have an ISO folder, make it at the root of your memory stick (ms0:/ISO/(all your iso's))

2)Custom theme's can be potentially fatal to your PSP (if you do anything wrong, you'll get a paperweight for your troubles) search for a clear guide about this.

3)For N64 stuff, Daedalus is the best emulator to go for. You can download it here, follow the readme.

4)GBA, you'll be wanting gpSP, get it here, you'll need gba_bios.bin for it to work, get that here.

5)These two sites are very useful for all your homebrew needs: http://www.psp-hacks.com and http://dl.qj.net There are also many others

PSP, all the way from 1.00 to 5.50 GEN D2 - DS Lite w/ M3DS Real (M3 Sakura v1.34)
PS3 3.01 - iPod Touch 2G 16GB Jailbroken - Xbox 360 60GB - PC, Q6600, 3GB DDR2, GTX260 (216) 896MB

Please note that we won't be posting links as to where to get games, it's against forum rules.

Use google, it's your best friend. You'll be looking for what are known as 'ROMS'. When you search, look for GBA ROMS or N64 Roms and you should find something.
