I have just re-installed Windows XP Professionl about 5 days ago. My hard Drive is partitioned. On the D:Dive there was a folder that was recovered from the C Drive. There is nothing in it, and It doesn't support the computer running. I'm having a difficult time deleting it. Is there a freeware software that I can use to delete it? I have tried to use a software called:Unlocker. It normally works. Yet, on this one it won't any suggestions? I have even tried deleting it in safe mode. Nothing!

maybe try safe mode w/ cmd prompt, and try deleteing it that way... when u get to the cmd line type "d:" then "dir" and see if you see the folder listed.

edit: also if it was me and i got irritated enough i would copy anything i wanted to save to c: drive and then format d: drive... but im sure theres a better way, hopefully someone can help u a bit better.
