http://www.sendspace.com/file/454l5j download 150 recovery to your desktop
connect psp to computer via usb and double click on the 150 recovery and follow instructions,once process is completed turn off psp and boot up the recovery menu go to run programme at psp/game/recovery/eboot and press x,press x again and in a few seconds you will be on 1.50

I just bought a generation 1 psp with the firmware 1.5 after mine had gotten stolen a year ago. I totally need a refresher...what do i need to do in order to play mod games?

i recomend 3.52m33 custom firmware or 3.40 oe custom firmware they are about as good as each other

you custom firmware to 3.40oe-a
partially right, you either need 1.5, or a custom firmware, not including the fact that you need the games and emulators
