wii stop reading wiikey disc

Similar has probably been asked before but I could not find answer.

One day my Wii just stop booting the wiikey disc. I opened it and the connections to the wiikey are fine. I tried burning the iso on a different brand of disc but it did not work. Can anyone here help?

Ok my next question is this: if my Wii can't play the wiikey disc, then how come it can still recognize it?
When I put it in, the familiar GameCube logo appears in the game disc channel. If I were to put in any other disc (DVD for example), the square would be blank!
Can anyone please tell me why it has stopped reading the Wiikey disc!? This thing was a lot more fun when it worked.

Firmware 3.0 broke the setup disk compatibility. Search for more info and solution.

You can boot the set up disc by using a GCoS bootup disc. How it works is the GCoS boot up disc will boot up and then you can swap the GCoS boot disc with your Wiikey set up disc and luanch it that way.

But, I can't figure how to burn a GCOS disc...
I burned the isos made by the Create_iso files. and I tried using make-multiv3, but it just opens and closes right away. Yeah...
