i seem to recall a skirmish in the psp forums earlier this year where sigs were extremely bloated and made into childish attacks towards me; in the end, vurbal came down on me for blank lines.
so by that precedent, yes, blank lines are still lines of text and bignewb is still breaking siggy rules.
experience is a wonderful thing. :-P

thinking about it, domreis's sig is too large, as well, as you are to have no text with an image above 100 pixels tall.
not trying to be a tattle-tale or whatnot, but it seems the sig rules aren't evenly enforced because everyone forgets what one mod said at one time at some point.
...except me. XD
