Hi Everyone, i have a question about bioses. I have a matrix chip in a v1.1 xbox, and i have the M7 bios on the chip. My problem is that i can't play any of the new retail games, they just don't load. i'm assuming this is from a new media flag which my bios can't handle. Is there a new bios that i don't have? i have also tried the x2 4976 (i think) but have the same problem. Thanks in advance.

I believe the M7 is the newest and is supposed to be the best, and able to work on any version Xbox. Maybe your Bios is not the problem. If you are trying to play the original game and not a backup then just load from the original M$ dash and it should work just fine. If you are using a backup then you may need to get some patching.
