My Computer gave me the old blue screen of death the other day. Tried everything to even get windows to start (Windows XP Pro). So I decided to reinstall the OS. It took 6 hours to reinstall!!! KNow windows starts but runs REALLY SLOW. When I try to open Internet exporer, it tried to start, says website found and a download window opens??? It says it's from whom every I made the home page with (MSN or google) and the file name is redir. If I say cancel exporer quits, if I say download it quits. I put Firefox on it lets me get to web, what could be wrong with explorer? Also if I try to print it says cache not found, and a some software that use to work doesn't seem to work after reinstalling.

You'll have to start testing your hardware one piece at a time... sounds like something is starting to fail, and the reinstall just amplified the situation.
