Hi guys,

bought me a second 360, I'm wondering what the order is:
- flash to Ixtreme out of the box before going online for the first time? OR
- get all the updates first (including spring) and then flash to Ixtreme?

whatever first shouldnt matter. But personally i would get the updates then flash

Ah thanks guys, I actually wanted to flash my drive first, but I can't get my lousy VIA VT6421 PCI card to recognize my new ms28 :(

before that I wasted soo many hour on this already, and I got 8 internal sata ports on my new rig (ICH9 controller)...it sees my xbox360 but doesn't dump or flash.

so I bought a VIA SATA PCI controller on ebay, and now I can't get it to work...this ms28 drive is pissing me off badly. (my other 360 has a ms25 drive, which was almost too easy to flash)

I got it working yahoo! using my old server I was able to dump my key etc :) man at least now I can say I know how to flash an ms25/ms28 succesfully, hopefully nobody asks me to do a Hitachi someday...
