Ok, first of all I got a D2A modded wii, I know that the D2C cannot be modded, but my question is why? cut pins? wii not recognizing chip? Different board layout? If anyone have pics please post them, im just curious why it can't be modded.

It's not known for sure why it can't be modded yet. Some suggest are that it's a software change whilst others say that it's physical, i.e. the legs/traces of the chip don't connect to the core of the chip anymore.
