Problem with 3.0b (U) update

My Wii says theres a new update for my system.
But when I update the system it starts downloading, before it even finishes it says your Wii already has the latest updates etc.

Is this normal?
I know the 3.0b was release shortly after 3.0 but I'm pretty sure when I updated the first time I only got the 3.0.

I guess the mail was sent out in batches. Both you and I received it after we already updated. No biggie.

Alright cool I guess I just paranoid then.

It isn't my Wii just borrowing it from my sister. Would hate to return it broken cause I updated the firmware.
