Unplayable disc help with burning please.

Hi so I've had my 360 flashed and I know it works because the guy who did it tested it with a backup disc and it worked fine, now I'm using a Pioneer 112D that was bought brand new today and verbatim DL discs, I've now got the unplayable disc message on 2 seperate discs using 2 different programs (CloneCD and ImgBurn) burning at 2.4x. Some help would really be appreciated, thanks.

i heard if you burn at 2.4x game won't work but if you burn at 4x speed the game works and it says imgburn is best for burning xbox 360 games

and also make sure the games are stealth patched you can check and make games stealth patched with xdvdmulleter

I'll try burning at 4x, I was wondering if its to do with the booktype but I read that pioneers will automatically put this to dvd-rom, it's just when I put a blank disc in the drive and go to image burn on the info pane on the right it says booktype: DVD+R DL. There is nothing wrong with the images I'm burning, i used downloaded ones from the net of games I own (I didn't trust myself to rip them properly so downloaded them) and everyone else has used them fine. Will reply back soon after the next test.
