What program should I use if I want to backup an HD movie completely minimizing the compression as much as possible and using a dual layer disc

you will have to have a blu-ray optical drive. do you have one? plus there are no HD optical drives on the market

I didn't know you needed a blu-ray optical drive I thought a dual layer drive would do the trick with a dual layer disc and using the appropiate software from slysoft

the optical drives run 800.00 to 1000.00 dollars and the blanks are 25 to 30 dollars each
