I was backing up "Rivers end" and as if a switch has changed - it took double the normal time as normal? I remember this happened awhile ago and it had something to do with Changing "Secondary" settings?? Not sure - don't remember... Any suggestions...

check your ide controllers to see if set to pio when should be set to dma. read this link.
