I'm looking into buying a new laptop, and since hardly anyone sells laptops with XP anymore, and Mac's rarely get viruses, I was thinking about snaggin a mac, but i want to be able to backup my games with it. is there any chance at all that there will be an XBC or Schtrom for Mac in the near future? if not, is there anyway to run them on mac anyways?

You can run XP or Vista programs on a Mac with VMware Fusion or Parallels Desktop .They allow you to be able to install Vista or XP and do a dual boot of Mac's OS and MS's OS on the same system. On Vista,I read on some computer magazine that Service Pack 2 is going to come out soon, hopefully fixing all the compatibility issues with it

hmm, actually, there's a leaked version of SP1 for vista, i wouldn't download it though, too illegal, to risky, but i dont know about SP2. so these programs allow win32 applications to be run without installing windows, or is windows still necissary? also, are the programs free? because i believe Apple Bootcamp allows you to dual boot, and they offer that free.
help is much appreciated :D
