I was thinking of purhcasing the psp 290 gps stallite reciever.I already downloaded the software on my psp all i need is the reciever But i have a few questions before buy it.

1. Is psp 290 a navigator or does it only show ur postion? Like can i put my starting and ending destinations ( like Mapquest).

2. Is it voice enhanced?

1. Currently, there is no built on routing. You can however use GMDL to create a route and upload it to the PSP. I have been following the discussions over at Deniskas forum and they are definately looking into trying to figure something out.

2. They have recently added voices to the software. Check out Mapthis .5. Has 3d maps, inverted colors for night time, bug fixes, etc.

I just got my PSP-290 about 3 days ago and have not put it down since. Takes about 10-15 minutes to lock sats in, but once it does, it is fine.
