u could always reinstall the firmware....or download the 3.52 update and extract the data.psar from the eboot and then decrypt and extract the files from that.

Thanks. I been trying all morning and have only been able to extract and decrypt the resource files there was nothing in the vhs/module folder.

If someone could email them to me, it would make my day. I haven't had any luck doing it myself. Thanks.

first thing i only tried this on 3.52m33-4. u all need sony's 3.52 update,psardump2b,and pbp unpacker.u all cann't use files sent to u or downloaded.cause it wont install the player on the psp(i know cause i tried it on my other psps and other people that i helped.u have to run this steps on every psp u want the player on.

install pbp unpacker on pc, extract 3.52 update and extract psardump2b and install it on your psp 150gamefolder.

first step.run pbp unpacker and click on the open folder option, find the 3.52 update on your pc and click it,then the extract folder will come up.extract the update.save it to your documents on pc.

2nd step.plug your psp to your pc(make sure u have a full charge battery). now locate the data psar file should be (15,915kb),copy that file to root on psp memorycard(not in any other folder).

3rd step.run psardump2b on your psp.after it loads it'll give u 3 options to dump the file.press x.it should take less than 2 minutes.

4th step.plug your psp back to pc.u should see a new folder called f0,copy that folder to pc(my documents).delete F0 folder and psardump2b from psp.now open the file(f0)u should see a few folders.open vsh folder u should see nodule and resource and other folders.if not,u need to re do everything.keep the vsh folder opened.

5th step. plug in your psp to pc (in recovery mode)toggle usb flash0.open the vsh folder.u should see nodule and resource folder.
now open nodule folder on pc. copy the 3 lftv prx files from your pc to the nodule folder on psp.
next open the resource folder on pc and copy the 9 lftv rco files to the resource folder on the psp.
know toggle usb flash0 off.exit recovery mode.select locationfree player on your psp and it now should work.
i hope i didn't miss anything.

Hey goirish,
I just followed your guide & can confirm it WORKS!!!
I've been looking for how to do this for over a year.
THANKS A LOT!

Only confusing thing in your guide was nodule/module folders.

To clear it up for others...
- Use the Module folder for files on pc
- Use the Nodule folder for files on psp (even though a Module folder is there too)

Also, I used psardump3.0 and can confirm this version works fine.

Nice work mate!
