Hey people Im new here, anyway I was hoping if someone could tell me what is wrong w/ this XBOX.
First Id like to note that I get a red/orange flashing light when turning on, and sometimes the drive wont open and powers itself off everynow and then aswell I get no picture so yes I think this unit is really bad. I took the XBOX apart and saw a chip in it, it looked like a xecuter lite, when the unit was on w/ the chip installed it had a blue light coming from it and there is a switch that I think disabled/enabled chip. The chip only had 1 solder point and a couple grounds (wires going into the boards screws). Well I think that might be some good enough info to start out w/ if someone can help me thatd be greatly appreciated. By the way I dont mind what else I do to this XBOX as I purchased it really cheap. So if anyone can tell me anything useful to do w/ it besides scrap it for parts or trash it thanks!
