Would it make my kinda crappy but still alright "15 LCD Monitor High Definition? The highest resolution on it is 1280 X 800 Pixels, and it runs well on 1024 X 768. Would it make a better difference than normal tv?
Please may you lot explain to me as im new to this, Thanks. Regards.
in short yes i did thge same thing on mine can do 720p and is 19inches plus widescreen and the words are a lot easier to read when its pluged into the monitor versus the tv.
ive been wanting to do this for a little while, does it matter what the refresh rate is because i have this old crappy 15" crt monitor that only does 60 hz but it goes to 1280x1024 (i think) so what kinda picture will this get?
Basically, all moniters dating back 5-10 years ago can generally go HD, this is because PC moniters have always had better quaility, generally with LCD they always seem to go HD plasma also go HD, but not that great, and obviosuly the screens have to be a decent size. I've got a 7 year old plasma 17" moniter that happily goes HD. TV's ahve only just gone HD, because the technology for the quaility of taht size screen has only becoem available recently. So yeh most moniters will always go HD ever if they are 5 years or 10 years old.

is there that much difference between 720p and 1080i?
