Hello mates ! I just signed up here cause i liked your forum and i would like to participate in it. Well... I just opened my xbox and realised that i own an MS28 drive... :(

All i want to know is how to flash this. (i know how to flash the ms25)

my mobo is Asus A8N-VM CSM. Is it compatible to read the drive ?
If not... what am i supposed to do ?

Please help me ... (also heard of the VCC method,but dont really know it)

you have to have a sata card with a 6421 chipset to flash a 28(thats what ive been told ,thats what i used) but if you want to try yours it goes like this...do every thing the same as the 25 but before you go to choose your xbox drive turn off your xbox hit yuor drive key (1 or 2 ec) then turn on yuor xbox.its called the ten second method but it dont have to be ten seconds. if it dont work buy you a sata card at newegg

well the best thing to do is unplug all yuor dvd /cd drives and hard drive ..then there will only be 1 drive

i would suggst the sybia 6421l sata card with non raid ..it shoul be on there somewhere
