Help 2.82 confusion for newbie

Hi have had mixed info on subject, but ive a psp 2.82 and looking for a way to play iso on it, been told to downgrade to 1.5 and upgrade, but others tell me its impossible to do with 2.82 can someone please clear this mess up for me a i dnt wanna brick it. Sorry if this an obvious newb question but i felt i would get a straight answer and info here.

yes you can downgrade with either an unpatched version GTA:LCS or Lumines. Depeneds which game you have.

from 3.03 use GTA LCS to DG to 1.5
from 3.50 use Lumines to DG to 1.5

once there i would recommend a custom firmware like 3.52 M33 ir even the older 3.40OE

these have built in loaders and other cool features that Sony failed to put in their official FW :)
