The information is in the Wii section. There is a program you can use that plays both DVD's and Xvid files.

You need to learn how to search and find your answer. Instead of starting a new thread that has been answered already.

Why do you want to play DVD's on a Wii for anyway? All your doing is diminishing the life of your Wii laser when it would be just as cheap to buy a DVD player and extend the life of your Wii laser longer. You can get a DVD player for $20 or even a Xvid/DVD player for $40.
