this is a thread for all the people who have played final fantasy 7 before and liked it. i put this in the psp forums because now u can play it on the psp. so just post stuff about the game like wat disc ur on, bosses u think are particularly hard, glithces, favorite materia, good places to train, anything

good game i beat it like 4 times alredy
at VERY VERY VERY last battle no need to press any thing it does it all auto LOL

is there a glitch in the game because it freezes in the battle when your blowing up sector 5 ( after the first mission where you blow up sector 10 )

I beat the game on PS1 years ago...
I spent 5 days straight getting every color chocobo, feeding them the best food (from that chocobo dude in the mountains) and getting them all to racing class s
spent another long while getting the omnislash final limit for cloud at the golden saucer theme park (*bleep* that was a bitch to get)
My favorite materia had to be Knights of The Round, you need a gold chocobo to get it (they are a pain in the ass to breed, it took me like 5 tries before they would have a damn gold one)
if you have a gold chocobo run to the top right of the map over the water and you will find an island with a small cave
other favorite parts include getting vincent from the haunted mansion and seeing that girl playing piano nnder the waterfall and vincent freaking out
also, Neo-Bahumet was sweet, but regular Bahumet was the most baddass of them all.

The one you have to get at "The Golden Saucer"?
I thought it was a pain in the a$$

well on the first disc the points need to get the limit break
ar doubled and with not alot of HP or MP and crap weapons
now that was hard

ok to the kid thats havin the glitch. i had that problem too. this isnt the thread for that but watever. ff7 is the glitchiest on 3.40-OE. i upgraded to 3.52 M33 just for ff7. it doesnt freeze on 3.52 M33
and by far the best limit break would have to be vincents chaos when he uses stan slam. and i think the best summon is probably hades. it only does like 4000 damage but hits the enemy with every effect the game has except like manipulate. it would probably be the most useful in a boss battle. unfortunately most bosses are immune to status effects for some weird reason

Hey
something crazy I experienced YEARS ago while playing this for like the first time.
I was in the Second Reactor you go to and I was walking around and went into a battle
where I was battling a freakin pyramid.
And then it told me to call something at the top. Not sure. Just weird.
I have nothing of importance to say.

yeah it does it all auto, but omnislash is much more fun than a counter attack!

Fantastic game, beat it when it first came out, then again last year. All total I have probably spent about 200 hours playing this game, good times!

Good times indeed.
I remember the thrill of staying up till 3 in the morning and finally beating Emerald Weapon.
And then Ruby right after.
The best things in life ARE free! Except purchasing the game of course...well...nevermind.
I have nothing of importance to say.

i was wondering if there is a psp version of Dirge of Cerberus?? and about the Final Fantasy VII remake, when will it be released?? is the battle system same as Crisis Core?? and i faced a problem here.. i had downloaded FF7 for my psp but when i put into my psp, it doesn't work.. and i realised that the file extension is pbp rather than iso or cso.. please advice..

yea it does work on the psp u just gotta make sure thats in the right folder and stuff. what i did was download it from a torrent and the guy told u how to put it on ur psp. u have to have a .pbp in a folder with the name of the file under the game so it looks like this
psp/game/thegame/thegame.pbp

Seriously, FFVII is the best game ever. I have beaten it many many times ^^ I have ran into some weird glitch before, when you are looking for the key to the ancients in the submarine, right when I got the key once or twice it went to a really strange screan and everyone "Tifa,Aeris,Cid,Red XIII,Vincent,Yuffie,Cait Cith,Barret you get it lol" was standing around and you could fight some wierd stuff lol i dont remember what though :(
Last fight with Sephiroth "Clouds limit break pops up, but Sephiroth attacks before Clouds turn causing Cloud to counter attack doing 9999.. finished"

But you had to go through, 2 or 3 (I forget the actual number) different versions of sephiroth before reaching that point, so of course he would be weakened.

Hi,
I was replying the game and Remember where your at the chocobo farm and you could run across the lake without fighting that annoying snake.?? Well I did that and forgot to get the CHOCOBO Lure Material from the kid at the Farm, Is there a way I can get a chocobo...???

Wait! You can get FF7 on psp! I tried downloading it on isohunt and t had three discs so i presumed it was a pc game. Does anyone ahve the link to dwonload the game on utorrent or bitorrent. It would really help

yea u can get it on the psp. ive had it for almost a year now. i think. maybe more. all you have to do is make sure you have custom firmware (for example i think ive been running 3.7something cuz ive seen no reason to upgrade. then just download the files. the ones i have are .pbp and it plays with no bugs or anything. its great. just look for it
