I have a Chameleon mod chip which was pre-flashed with the Chameleon X-Box Linux Clean Bios 1.8, and it was installed using the solderless adaptor. It works fine (LED blinks blue, bios shows up, says please insert disk) but i can't get it to flash. I've created several ISOs using Craxtion including Evox 1.8, the Evox M7 bios, and Slayer's Evox Auto Installer, but none will work. I've tried several types of media and i have used a 300 meg dummy file but it always says "loading linuxboot.cfg from CDRom... unable to find it, halting". And, with memorex CD-RWs it says it is loading it, but never does. Doesn't halt though. Do I have to solder the power and eject points to get it into mode 4 to flash it? Any help anybody could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot guys.

You don't have to be in mode 4 to flash... you can stay in mode 1. What I did to flash mine was to NOT make a ISO file using craxion or Isomaker, only burn the files needed (bios + dummy file) on the disc then it should be alright. By the way I'd suggest soldering P & E since it enables Mode 4 which is very useful if you ever want to go play on XBOX Live
