HOW TO active wiikey with 3.0X firmware without a gamecube needed

You can update ur Wii to firmware 3.0 before install Wiikey But u ll need later 2 dvd to active the chip and NO gamecube controller is needed !

First Download:This
Then if u have a PAL Wii execute BootableDisc_PAL.bat then a ISO will be generate burn that ISO ( i used a TDK DVD-R buned on 4x)

Second
Download the wiikey dvd config:HERE
Then if u have a PAL Wii execute BootableDisc_PAL.bat then a ISO will be generate burn that ISO ( i used a TDK DVD-R buned on 4x)

Third

Insert the first DVD the Wii will recognize as GC game Start it on DVD channel then a the DVD will request u to insert the second dvd press eject take out the first dvd then insert the second then press reset wait the load.

Now u are on the dvd configuration of wiikey hold reset 5 secs to enter on wiikey configuration then hold again 5 secs to active region override then press reset botton until Save settings then hold more 5 secs on Save Settings !

Now u ll be back to first menu press reset until get on reset console(i think. it s the last option!) Hold 5 secs on reset and TADÃÃÃ your Wiikey is active on firmware 3.0 without GC command needed

Before start make ur backups remember to take a look on this: SITE to not brick ur wii Because games from other regions can make a update on ur wii and destroy it...

That site will not prevent you from bricking your Wii. It is a region compatibility site. Yes some games do have information on newer firmware that might brick your Wii. But the fact is any out of region game disc can brick your Wii if you don't prevent it yourself.

HERE is a guide on how to prevent from a region brick issue.

If you use THIS boot-disk you don't need to do all that swapping nonsense.

Works exactly like the 1.2 setup disk but on 3.0 firmware.
