no, converting a PSX games onto DVD still won't let you play it with swap magic.

ok i got it and i converted all the files and whatnot for hot shots tennis cd version and put it on dvd but cogswap loads it then ps2 makes all sorts of noises but the game never starts just black screen

What region is the game NTSC or PAL and what region is the PS2 you are trying to get it to work on NTSC or PAL.
Could be it may need to be patched with ADR patcher.
