Hi, just yesterday I bought a 2nd hand xbox from a bootsale, bought for £20 and it had a chip installed, the reason I was told for it being sold is "just dont use it any more".
I'm gussing that error 06 is dash problems, and, as I have never played with any hardmod at all, I was wondering would xboxhdm be able to make a new drive with out the eeprom for this chipped xbox?
error 6 means the hdd is locked with the wrong eeprom. but considering you have a chip you can just setup a new drive with xboxhdm without locking it and it should work fine
