I know how to make backup and everything,but how do i make a mod?/.How do i replace files in ISO.I know about img tool.replace the modded files then click rebuild archive,but it wont save if i do that.How do i save a modded ISO??
And i saw the thread a little down but some of these programs are not free to use.
Help please

get a program like ultraiso open the iso and open the folder where the gta3.img is located and use the img tool to replace cars weapons whatever you want and then save it. after then drag gta3.img back to the iso and click file save then burn it.

Not that easy actually. You could use ultraiso but when you add a mod you have to be careful as there's barely any that will work on the PS2.

The PS2 has horrid hardware so if you copy a very high quality mod with HQ textures you'll get an error saying "GTA: SA disc is corrupt...". This is because the mod has to many polygons and can't be rendered to the game setting's specs for the PS2.

I've only got one car working in a very small environment but after I got into a city, I got the error again.

Ok i will try some off these programs at winter 2007-08 when i have time for it.Thanks anyways.
And 3 more questions before i leave

1.DVD decrypter sometimes just commands errors as it cannot read some files,same with other programs ISo Buster for an example.IS it something with my game ??
2.ultraiso is shareware only ISo's up to 300 MB,and gtasa ISo is 4.19 MB
3.except the .IMg files whic are moddable and map files which dont work,can you mod files like water or water1 with that waterlevekl editor by edison carter or any other file from that type?
