cant get into recovery

i am trying to get my psptube to work, but i cant get into recover to change the settings... i have given my psp a fresh start pressing the R button, but it just still starts up normal... can someone help me out?

What is your Firmware? Are you using custom Firmware (3.52 M33-4, 3.40 OE-A, or 3.40 LE). Go to Settings/System Settings/System Information and tell us what the "System Software" or "Firmware Version" is. I think you're running Official Firmware.

You can't do anything. There is currently no downgrade for 3.51 or 3.52 official firmwares. Sit back and wait for a miracle.

there is no recovery menu on official firmwares (well done $ony!)
they are only available on custom firmwares which must be installed from 1.5 (or other CFW of course), meaning you need to downgrade to 1.5 first.
unfortunately as BrewAgent says, there is no DG for anything above 3.50FW at the moment...wait patiently...VERY patiently
1.52>2.0>1.5>3.40 OE-A>3.71 M33-4
3.60>4.01 M33-2

I have a 2.71 firmware and I am experiencing the same issue. I can not access the recovery mode. Am I in the same boat? NO LUCK??

for the guy at 2.71 no there are downgraders for u and then u can get to custom firmware, for the guy that started this tread if u can borrow or buy a jigkick and magic stick from someone or ebay, or make ur owen, but u need a psp with customfirmware on it already, then u can downgrader ur psp, go to ebay and type psp unbricker gl

You can get a "jigkick" for free. With the help of a special homebrew app, you can create Pandora's Battery. You need a spare battery and a PSP with CFM or 1.50 already on it to install. Once installed, take the battery and memory stick you installed the stuff on and insert both into the PSP you want to downgrade. It can even downgrade 3.52 Official Firmware to 1.50. That's it! No exploit, no GTA, no Lumines needed, just a spare battery. You can alway format the memory stick and reuse it, but the battery will not be able to be used as a normal battery again (safely).
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

I used the easy installer to downgrade to 1.5. Everything went fine and in the end when it went to restart, it never came back up. Its Totally Bricked. So now im trying to figure out how to unbrick this. I dont have a Pandora battery and a memory stick. Is there anything I can do?

ok well how? I have a 2.7 and downgrading it messed it up? do you have a tutorial and files?
