im running ixtreme on a ms28 and i use proper cheap discs atm... £20 for 25 non branded and 2bh most games run prefectly on them. however, oblivion makes a lot of noise and wont get past the video for the company... bestheda? (anyway its irrellevant its the very first video) and for example fifa world cup 06 wont get past a few games... i dno if its the media or just bad copies. oh also gears of wars, quite depressin... doesnt very often make it to the main menu though if it does its all good.

i dont want to spend nearing £2.50 per disc on verbatims atm unless i have to, so what are the infiniti ones like?? if my problem is media of course...

hands down its the disc .yuo can use cheap media but in the long run its not worth it .its bad on your laser ,better just buy the verbatims

hmm they are just so damn expensive :(
i just ordered 10 so il start by replacing the ones that are struggling... then i just buy some more discs every now and again until iv replaced the library
