Does anyone know if the aforementioned can produce 1080p picture on a full HD TV?? I'm really close to buying a 360 HD DVD player but I'm hearing that I'll need this coord to get the full feel. Is everyone happly with their 360 HD DVD player??

the packaging says 720p i beleve but i read on the net somewhere that it can now go up 2 1080p... sorry cant be of more help

Back when I bought mine, I was looking at it in the store and thought "what the hell...", but ya, it does do 1080p. I figured they would have fixed that mixprint by now.

well 2bh i have had mine for like... 6-12 months now so they may well have. so what is the advantage of hdmi if we can already get 1080p? :-S

vga or hdmi will will produce 1080p but hd components will do 720p.....

Less cables and some hdtv's don't have the vga port.

just look on the packaging or on the tv itself, if your not sure what it looks like just use your monitor cable to match up the port
