Im looking into purchasing a burner so i can backup my xbox 360 games. Ive read that the Pioneer 111d is the BEST for this task. Are there any others that are as equally superior to this one? What about the 112d? I understand that the pioneer drives automatically set booktyping for you, But is this why their so great? PLEASE, If you burn 360 games or know somebody that does, What are the reccomendations. Also, Im asking partly because the 111d is virtually extinct from what i can tell. Again, Any info on the pioneer 112d would be great.

Personally i like the BenQ burners that can use Q-Suite. That has a lot of nice options including booktyping media. Which it always defaults by burning all DVD+R formats as DVD-Rom.

alot of people like the BenQ. I willhave to visit newegg and find out more. The BenQ must be good as I hear of them in almost every forum i visit regarding burning 360 games. Ive read a couple reviews on newegg on the Pioneer 112d and some say its great for games.

Yep, Samsung delivers with this one, But Im kind of weary of products that sell other functions with the focal function. Im not into lightscribe, I use a casio cw-75 title printer for those tasks. And honestly, I could not give two s@#!'s about speed. I probably should have mentioned that earlier on. I just need a drive that can operate smoothly when doing games mainly, And of course burning c.d's. I'll more than likely go with the Pioneer 112D, Ebay has several, And just cross fingers it does'nt screw me like ashvts said it did to him. If it does, Im going with a BenQ.
