in theory you can down grade any psp. i was at psp-hacks.com and i found a link to http://www.noobz.eu/joomla/news/pandoras-battery.html/ . this is a guide on how to unbrick any psp regardless what fw it had or its mobo model. so if you think about it all you have to do is brick your psp purposely and then use the unbricker . the unbricker doesn't require a mod chip. now i was wondering what is a sure fire way to brick a psp fw 3.03 . my friend wants to put 3.52 m33 on his.the only problem is you need a spare battery to make the unbriking tool . but you can get them for like $20 . before i go through with this plan of bricking my friends psp tel me if i have overlooked something here. and don't blame me if you try this and it dosn't work i only am only tossing this out as an idea.

First off if you took time to read all other threads in this section you would know that this is possible and has been discussed over the past 2 days.

Second you don't need to purposely brick your friends 3.03 PSP to downgrade it. All you need to do is create the Jigkick battery + MS and place it into your friends 3.03 PSP and it will let you downgrade. (you will need a PSP with 1.5 offical firmware or a PSP with CFW to create the Jigkick battery)

Third you don't have to have an extra battery to do this. You can recover the battery back to normal after you unbrick or downgrade the PSP.

For more information on this do a search in this forum section.

In theory, if a PSP creates the propper files on the memory stick and flashes the battery's EEPROM, you could downgrade even a 3.52 (Official) Firmware on a different PSP correct?

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

@Crazykid3

Yes you can downgrade a 3.51 or 3.52 official firmware PSP to 1.50 using the Jigkick battery + MS that Pandora's unbricker/downgrader creates.

In order to create the Jigkick battery you will need to run Pandora's unbricker/downgrader on a PSP with 1.50 or CFW on it.

After you create the Jigkick battery you can place the MS and the Jigkick battery into the 3.51 or 3.52 official firmware PSP and downgrade it.

I already have a spare battery with the modification installed. I also went out and bought a simple 512MD Memory Stick Pro Duo and installed the app on it. So now, I can just use those two as an unbricker/3.52 downgrader on any PSP correct. Hmmm, all those people on eBay claiming unbricking services have just gone out of business, lol.
