magic swap wont work

I recently bought magic swap 3.6 and for some reason the magic swap dvd doesn't load. At the beginning, once i put the dvd disc in it shows the white letters of playstation 2, but after that its just a black screen (and it makes that loading sound) i guess it reads the beginning but cant load the menu. As far as the Magic Swap cd, well that doesn't work it says "Disc Read Error". Im guessing that the problem is the lens that cant read the discs. so what is my best solution? should I buy a dvd lens cleaner or open up the console and blow out the dust from the lenses?

You could try the DVD lens cleaner first.Are you having a problem with all discs or just the Swap magic discs. But if that fails depending upon what version PS2 you have you could look at this.

Ok well if all other DVD's and CD's play ok, then it is probably the Swap Magic discs and not your laser.
What version of PS2 do you have. I know the Swap Magic discs themselves can be fussy. One has to make really sure they are pushed all the way down on the spindle.
I don't know where your from but I know I had to return my first Swap Magic DVD, my retailer was excellent about it, just returned the disc to them first, then they sent me a new one. But now with all that went on in the USA may be hard for you to return depending upon where you purchased it.

nevermind, my mistake, it only plays ps2 games but it wont play cds or any dvds.

Sorry no my mistake, I meant if it plays all PS2 DVD games, and any PS2 CD games if you have them or not.
