Hello, upon trying to upgrade mt TA-082 3.4oea to 3.52 M33, I get this error "This game could not be started. (80000001)"
I have followed the instructions closely and all my upgrade data is in the GAME150 folder as it should be.
Does anyone have any ideas.
thx kindly.

Since your already have a CFW on your PSP you can skip the first (150 Only) step and go straight to step 2.
I will go over the steps you should be doing just to make sure you are doing it the same way.
Download 3.52 official firmware and rename it to 352.PBP
Download 1.50 official firmware and rename it to 150.PBP
Now add the above 2 files into the M33 Creator folder.
Now place the M33 Creator folder into the ms0:/PSP/GAME/ folder or the ms0:/PSP/GAME150 folder (either of those folders will work)
Now go to your GAMES Memory stick on the XMB and execute "3.52 M33 CREATOR"
After it returns to the XMB go to GAMES Memory stick and execute the "3.52 M33UPDATE"
You should now be at 3.52 M33 which is currently at version 4 so you need to find the 3.52 M33-4 and run that after you go to 3.52 M33
Also make sure you have your battery charged over 75%
HERE is the 3.52 M33-4 link incase you need it.

You could always run the 1.50 Recovery Winstaller and downgrade back to 1.50 (Official). Then install 3.52 M33 and Update #4. I find that when upgrading a custom Firmware, it is best to install it directly from 1.50 (Official) and not from OE, LE, or M33. This rule does not apply to "Firmware Updates" such as OE-A, OE-B, M33-2, M33-3, etc.
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

@bboy1
If your already at 3.52 M33 all you need to do is connect the PSP to your computer via USB. Then drag the PSP folder that came with the downloaded M33-4 update over to your PSP MS overwriting the ms0:/PSP folder when it ask you to.
Now go to Games Memory stick on the XMB and execute the M33 update. Thats all you have to do (it only takes a second to update)
To delete the update off the MS go to ms0:/PSP/GAME150 and delete the M33 update folder.
If your on a M33 version that is lower then 3.52 (3.51 or below) you will need to update to 3.52 M33 before updateing to 3.52 M33-4.
HERE is the 3.52 M33 CFW in case you need to update from a lower M33 CFW.

yeah apparently they go in the root of the MS too, except you only need them if you wanna run ps1 games. But you don't need them for the update. I updated to m33-4 and didn't have those files on my MS.

In order to go from 3.52 official firmware to 3.52 M33
You will need to use Pandora's Battery unbricker/downgrader.
In order to create this downgrader you will need to know someone that has a PSP with 1.50 or CFW on it. They will need to create the Pandora's battery to use in your PSP to downgrade.
HERE is a guide on creating the Pandora's battery. This is the only way you can downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to 3.52 M33.

@hummerger
Since your at 3.03 official firmware you will need a unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories to downgrade to 1.50 so you can upgrade to M33.
OR
You can also update to 3.50 Official firmware then downgrade to 1.50 using an unpatched version of Lumines.
Here is a GUIDE that has multiple guides on how to downgrade so you can upgrade to the 3.52 M33 Firmware.
If you don't have either of those games and know someone that has a PSP with 1.50 or CFW (OE/M33) on it then you can use the Pandora's Battery unbricker/downgrader method. Here is a GUIDE to this method.
