Hey

I have a psp with 3.52 m33 and i wanted to downgrade my brothers psp which is 2.82

I formatted my memory stick and then used mspformat on it and then i used the easy installer

I then booted the battery creator and hit triangle and then hit x

So i thought i was set and put the memory card and battery into my brothers psp and the green light went on but then nothing....

Any ideas?

That's your first problem, you used the easy installer. Downgrade the original file and install manually. It is a little difficult to understand if you're not computer-savy. The readme will explain everything. Little advice: when something says run ....exe, it means go into Command Prompt, change the directory to the exe and then type the program name with /? at the end. This is tell you what to type in addition to the .exe file to make it work.

There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

You didn't install the IPL correctly onto your memory card.

The same thing happened to me. I used the easy installer and tried the Pandora's battery on firmware 2.71, I created it by emulating firmware 1.5. Whenever I put in the battery, the green light turns on automatically without me turning it on. But the PSP is not on. The PSP screen light isn't on. But when I put in another battery that's not a Pandora one, the PSP works fine.
