Hi,

This has probably been asked several times before so, please forgive me. I have looked through some of the pages for my answer but theres only so much searching one man can do!

Firstly, is it possible to add an internal HD to an XBOX 360 core system? If so, could someone kindly point me in the direction of some sort of tutorial.

Secondly, if the above is not possible is it possible to use a USB external drive that is modded in some way so that I can save games to.

It's not that I was tight with my purchase of the core system, it came free as a 'thank you' from one of my IT suppliers.

My ultimate goal is to mod the entire xbox so that I can play back-ups. As I understand it, modding can not be done without a hard drive?

Thanks in advance for any help offered and sorry if it's tiresome subject.

your questions are a lil...well i will answerthe best i can.

and you can flash your core 360 and it will play backups without a hdd. at this time there is no mod or hack for it that was like the orig xbox. you cant save games to the hdd, the flash of the firmware on the dvd drive is the only mod there is but it will allow you to play backups of your games.
i hope this helps you in making a choice in flashing your 360 or not
and if you decide to flash it please dont ask 20 questions on how to do it.

and if you dont like them you can find other guides with google.once you educate yourself on the topic and need to ask some questions someone here will be glad to help.
but do read the tutes.
